PETALING JAYA: Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau has sent a special birthday message to prominent tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan, who will turn 70 on Wednesday (Feb 23).

In a short video, Lau sang the traditional “Happy Birthday” song to Tan.

“Happy birthday, to ‘my brother’.

“I can’t make it to your 70th birthday party but I would like to send my best wishes through this video,” he added.

Lau is married to Carol Chu, who is Tan’s niece.

The Berjaya Corporation Berhad chairman’s daughter, Chryseis, shared what appears to be a rehearsal ahead of the tycoon’s birthday party on her Instagram stories.

Other Instagram stories shared featured singers Nikki Palikat and Siti Nurhaliza serenading the crowd.
