Batang Kali landslide: Man’s son severely injured, wife remains missing

SUNGAI BULOH: It is uncertain for Lim Mun Siong whether his family will be together again after the Batang Kali landslide.

His wife and son had joined their son’s colleagues for a camping trip at the Father’s Organic Farm where a landslide hit early Friday (Dec 16).

While his son, 19, had been rescued from the site, his 44-year-old wife is still missing.

Lim’s friend, who requested not to be named, accompanied him to the Sungai Buloh Hospital. Lim’s son suffered severe spinal injuries sustained from the landslide.

The friend said that the mother’s sister was on her way to the hospital from Ipoh, Perak to facilitate a DNA test after receiving the news.

Hoping to get more updates about his wife, Lim decided to come and wait at the hospital.

However, he refused to be interviewed, as things remain uncertain for him.
