Body of woman found at Sg Kandis waste trap

SHAH ALAM: A murder investigation has been opened after the body of a woman that had her hands tied up was found at a waste trap at Sungai Kandis.

“The body was found on Tuesday (Jan 25) at around 10.40am and we believe that the victim had been deceased for around seven days.

“No exterior injuries were seen, and we have classified the case as murder, under Section 302 of the Penal Code,” said Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Baharudin Mat Taib in a statement on Thursday (Jan 27).

The victim’s race has yet to be determined, but investigations showed that she is 150cm in height. On her was a ring with a red stone on the ring finger.

The victim was wearing a black sleeveless shirt.

Police believe that her maroon-coloured pants had been used to tie the victim’s hand.
