MELAKA: A book authored by Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka’s (UTeM) vice-chancellor Prof Dr Massila Kamalrudin is now a reference material for university students in the country.

According to Prof Massila the book offered insights in engineering and she felt honoured.

She was also awarded the prestigious “National Book Award 2022” for her book entitled Inaugural Lecture Series: Improving Technical Product Quality Through Requirements Engineering, from Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, recently.

Prof Massila said it wasn’t an easy task to author the book as she had to incorporate facts and figures into her content.

“A book can’t be authored just out of nothing but needs determination, perseverance and must be fact-based,” she said in an interview on Monday (Sept 5).
