KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested a foreigner in connection with the murder of a man and assault of two others.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya said they were alerted about a fight at Jalan Tun H.S. Lee at 2.26pm on Tuesday (July 19).

“Police personnel were sent to the scene and found three foreigners unconscious on the ground.

“Further checks revealed one of them had died while the two others suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

He said police from the Dang Wangi CID arrested a 52-year-old foreign man to assist further investigations at around 5pm.

“The man will be remanded to help with the investigations.

“We are now working to track down the main suspect involved in the case,” he said, adding that the motive was still under investigation.
