JAKARTA: The COVID-19 infection tally in Indonesia now stands at 10,551 cases, with 800 deaths in total.

The government's spokesperson for COVID-19-related matters, Achmad Yurianto, said eight more fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours.

"Over the last 24 hours until noon today, another 433 new cases were reported," he said.

He said the number of patients under surveillance for COVID-19 stood at 22,123.
