Dr Wee joins Asean leaders at dinner in conjunction with Changi Aviation Summit

PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong joined fellow Asean counterparts at a dinner in conjunction with the inaugural Changi Aviation Summit on Tuesday (May 17).

The event was hosted by Singapore Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister Teo Chee Hean.

Dr Wee said Teo took the opportunity to deliver his keynote address elucidating the direction and importance of sustainability in a post-Covid aviation environment.

“A fireside chat titled ‘Global Response to Climate Change’ after dinner was led by Teo alongside moderator Warren Fernandez, editor-in-chief of The Straits Times,” Dr Wee said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

More than 300 global aviation leaders, policymakers and senior executives from over 45 countries are attending the two-day summit, which ends on Wednesday (May 18).
