Jabra has unveiled its latest wireless earbuds in its Elite series, the Elite 4, putting it as a more affordable option as opposed to last year’s Elite 5. Unlike the entry-level Elite 3, this midranger product comes with active noise cancellation (ANC) while keeping the battery life the same.
The Jabra Elite 4 are equipped with the same 6mm drivers as the other earbuds in the lineup, with support for Qualcomm aptX and SBC audio codecs. They are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance and feature in-ear pressure relief.
As previously mentioned, the earbuds sport ANC with the use of four microphones to also improve phone calls. Additionally, they come with support for Jabra HearThrough, which is the brand’s transparency mode that lets you hear ambient noise around you without taking them off.
On the software side, the Elite 4 is compatible with Fast Pair for Android and Swift Pair for Windows, letting you easily and seamlessly pair with your devices. On top of that, they support Spotify Tab playback on Android, which lets you play Spotify with a single tap, as well as Siri and Google Assistant if you want to use a voice assistant.
Jabra fitted the earbuds with Bluetooth 5.2 and included compatibility with Bluetooth Multipoint, allowing them to connect to two devices at once and switch seamlessly. The Elite 4 earbuds also work in solo mode if you want to conserve battery.
Speaking of battery life, these earbuds can last up to seven hours with ANC turned off and 5.5 hours with ANC enabled. With the charging case, they can last between a total of 22 and 28 hours of playback depending on whether or not you turn on ANC. They take 3.5 hours to fully charge but Jabra claims that 10 minutes of charging can already give you one hour of use.
The Jabra Elite 4 comes in Navy, Dark Grey, Lilac, and Light Beige. They will be available in authorised retailers and the brand’s official Shopee and Lazada stores from the end of April 2023 at RM529.
