Not all heroes wear capes: Internet responds to ehailing driver who gave man free ride to hospital

PETALING JAYA: An ehailing driver’s act of kindness by giving a free ride to a man whose father needed medical attention is proof that not all heroes wear capes.

Facebook user Muhammad Ridzwan, recounting his encounter with the man in a Facebook post on Sunday (Sept 11), said that he had to send his father to hospital because of an emergency and was forced to ehail a car as he was riding his motorcycle at the time.

Muhammad Ridzwan said when he reached the hospital, the driver declined the RM15 payment for the ride from his house to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang.

“Really respect you bro! Thank you so much,” he wrote.

The experience left him feeling grateful and touched the hearts of many other Malaysians too.

Hundreds of Facebook users were touched by this story, with the post garnering over 1,000 shares.

Many commended the driver’s kind deed.

One user said: “Respect you bro.. should reward you God bless you always”, while another said: “Not all heroes wear capes! Good job bro!”
