PAGOH: A man died on the spot and three others were badly injured after the car they were travelling in hit an electrical post.

Pagoh Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohd Fadli Ismail said it received an emergency call on Friday (Feb 25) around 6.53pm.

He said six firemen and one fire engine were deployed to the scene at the exit of the Pagoh Plaza toll led by senior officer II, Mohd Farid Sarjan.

“Three people were pinned inside the car while another one was thrown out of the car,’’ Mohd Fadli said in a statement.

He said the three injured victims were sent to a hospital for treatments and the deceased was handed over to police for further action.

The operation ended at 8.15pm.
