Perak Ruler unveil’s MIM’s new logo at gala dinner in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR: Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced his presence at the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) 55th Anniversary Royal Gala Dinner on Wednesday (Aug 17).

Nazrin who attended the event with his wife Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim also unveiled MIM’s new brand identity, with a new logo.

MIM president Tun Mohammad Hanif Omar said the logo represent MIM values.

“The triangle is a geometrical figure that represented strength with its simple, yet clear lines pointing upwards to converge at an apex.

“The institute aims to reclaim its position as the apex or premier management organisation in Malaysia.

“For while we honour the past and celebrate the present, it is to the future that we strive and this future will always involve the institute looking up, always seeking better ways to serve the needs of managers,” he said.

Hanif said MIM agility and ability to manage challenges in the past, which include having their building burned to ground twice, allowed them to survive for over five decades.

He said the new brand identity encouraged the team to be more driven and ready to deliver services.

“We remain unwavering in our commitment to nurture managers and leaders through time,” he said.

Hanif said the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated MIM’s digital transformation.

“We conducted webinars and kickstarted Crucial Conversations, a platform that encourages bold and open conversations centred around current topics that matters to the public,” he said.
