Public interest issues will always warrant my attention, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: A solution to any issue raised by the public will be sought – no matter how big or small, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president, who went on a walkabout in Taman Kota Yong Peng in Johor with Yong Peng assemblyman Ling Tian Soon, said matters related to public interest would always be his priority.

“We listen to every problem residents face, including the lack of foreign workers for the agricultural sector.

“I also heard a number of issues related to my portfolio, particularly the shortage of truck drivers and the enforcement of the unladen weight limit (BTM) that require the attention of the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

“No matter how big or small the problem they face, I will help solve it with all my effort.

“What is most important, every matter that involves the interests of the public will be my priority,” he said.
