Starting earlier this week, the Touch ‘n Go official Facebook page has begun to publish several teasers that seemed to promote upcoming Christmas-themed merchandise. At a glance, you may immediately brush it as another generic Christmas keychain but as it turns out, the tiny gingerbread man is actually a manifestation of an Enhanced Touch ‘n Go NFC card.

In other words, the charm comes with the same functionalities as per TNG NFC card including the ability to check and top-up its TNG balance through TNG eWallet app on an NFC-capable smartphone. This was confirmed by a short video that was published on TNG eWallet official TikTok channel earlier today.

However, the video has since been pulled out from the channel but the remnants of its existence such as these screenshots can still be found online. That being said, information regarding the new TNG Charm Christmas Edition is still scarce at the moment.

For example, we don’t know how much it will cost or if there is some prerequisite that customers need to fulfil before they are able to get their hands on the charm. The only major information that we were aware of at the moment is that it will be made available to the public between 12 to 17 December.

If that’s true, then expect further information regarding the TNG NFC Charm to be available very soon. Given the popularity of the Enhanced TNG NFC card which scarcity of stocks has attracted scalpers, we will not be surprised that this will happened again to the new Charm.
