It’s not background, education, race, color or nationality that makes the difference. Another level of racism that occurs within the same race. In some places, you are considered more beautiful or have a higher social status because of the color of your skin. And it’s often the lighter-skinned people who are considered higher status than the darker-skinned people. The truth is we are all essentially the same person, just different individuals, different skin colors but we are all the same.
